My dear dear love is being so very naughty.

I clean her kitty box twice a day... and everytime I see her she uses her box... however... I keep finding small gifts from her in corners. She is the poopiest cat I ever did see. I dont keep her food down all day, she gets fed twice a day.. the cat box is clean and available..and as much as I clean out of it I know she is using it... what on earth could be causing her to do this?

She's probably trying to tell you that something is wrong. You should take her to the vet. Cats don't act up like that unless something is bothering them inside and the only way to tell you is to mess around the house. Pandora did that for years, but we and the vet could never figure out what it was until it was too late.

Is it actually turds? Or is she dragging stuff out of the box attached to her feet? One of my kitties gets pieces stuck in his toes, and I find them all over the house. I've put mats in front of all the litter boxes to pick up most of the spillage, but sometimes I have to run after him with baby wipes to clean his feet. It's really unpleasant when he comes to snuggle with me in bed, and I can smell where he's just been. He's also been known to sport a dingleberry or 2...thus, the importance of keeping baby wipes available.

If the cat is actually pooping out of the box, there must be something wrong. Cats tend to like to poop in the same places all the time, and they like to cover it up. Perhaps she doesn't like the litter you are using...or perhaps there is a medical issue. I agree with Ahonui that you should bring her to the vet for a check up, and bring some of the poop in a baggie with you so they can run tests for parasites and such. When you do clean up, you may want to spray the area with Nature's Miracle or a similar neutralizing spray, so the cat won't be attracted by her own scent to re-stage the crime...once they "mark" the area, it's fair game for continued offenses.

Here are a few things first off it could be a medical problem you should take her to the vet and have them run some tests and I agree take some poo with you (he he that rhymes) but seriously have her checked>

The other thing is if shes a long haired cat it could be sticking to her. Do you have a covered litter box or is it near her food or water? cats don't seem to like having there litter box near their food or water their picky that way.

Have you change the litter brand? we switched to a cheaper brand and our cat didn't like it very much so we switched back to the old brand which works for her.

Natures miracle works great best on the market as far as I am concerned.

Hope some of this helps :)
