Tania--my white wolf guide--has been with me for a while. She's a constant presence in my mind, and I see her whenever I meditate.

I find it comforting to have a guide.

I agree with you, and this comment applies to so many other things too. In fact sometimes years after making a petition, I will notice that it has been fulfilled in a completely unexpected way. Long after I had forgotten making the petition. Sometimes I laugh, because the universe took something I petitioned long ago and lost, and made it into something completely different that is entirely out of context by the time it comes around to fulfillment. Immediate gratification seems out of the question. I do hope you find your spirit guide. I'm not really sure what that is. I just wander around and let the universe make itself known to me as it will.

Of course, if plants can be a spirit guide, then there are a number of them that have befriended me, mostly from the garden section at the home depot!

There is a woman I dreamt of almost nine years ago. She ran a store but didn't accept $. She wanted only to trade. I was thinking that I would not give her my engagement ring as that is the only thing of value I had. She read my mind and laughed saying that I would need that where I was going. I asked her which way to go and it seems she gave some directions such as turn here, there. But most of all she gave me a picture in my mind of a bridge and said that is where I was going. I now live a half mile from that bridge she showed me. Talk about goosebumps when I first saw this bridge and realized it was THE bridge! When I first moved to this place, I dreamt of her again where she caused me in ceremony to lie face down in the mud of a cave next to a skeleton. I was very afraid but she said it must be done. I was only in the mud for a moment and then was pulled up and mom was there to clean me up. The vibration in my heart was changed. Before we moved here, we traveled in an rv for about six months. I begged hubby not to, but we did it anyway, leaving a good job and all of our posessions. Well, he was reinstated at his job with a promotion of sorts and he has his longevity back and everything and are stationed a couple of hours away from where we were living before. All that after he quit! So I'm thinking that "mud" was our journey in the rv because I darn sure appreciate everything so much more than I ever did. My vibration is different and so is my husbands. We don't take things for granted. We for some reason took ourselves to the brink of absolute destruction by quitting and traveling. Now we are so much better off in every way for having done it. In our travels, we had two different hawks flying right in front of us for miles at a time coming and going. I don't know what all of this means, but I am certainly wondering if she is my guide and about those messenger hawks too. A tribal elder told me the White Buffalo Calf Woman would come to me in a dream. Perhaps that was her? My daughter is half Lakota from her biological father (sperm donor) so this all has me thinking about her heitage and what it all means. I do know though that we are in the right place, just don't know why yet. Sorry this is so long. I could write even more about those hawks and the buffalo calf, but that's probably enough said for now.
