Picked up some stuff from the local health food shop, and found a card that had different type of foods for blood type.
Amazing when I started reading mine.... no meats... other than venison... (which I do like in the winter) and fish the rest of the time... also lamb.. but I've eaten lamb when I lived in Australia... and I didn't like it..LOL.. course it might have been the cook too... my ex husband couldn't cook, and I had no idea how to cook lamb..LOL
But does say lots of fish, and gave the veggies, very little fruit, nuts and so forth.....
They did mention spelt flour and spelt pasta... I know I have seen Sage talk about this before...will have to go and read up on that funny named flour...LOL

I think we have discussed this previously.
There really is no scientific reason that certain foods should be better for certain blood types.

We have talked about it. I think it might be on our old forums though, because I can't find it here.
There is a school of thought (I guess that's the right term to use) that says that eating for our blood type will be healthier for us. Some of us are better on an almost purely vegetarian diet, while others need more red meat. I have a small booklet on it that I bought at our local herb shop. I'm of the almost vegetarian blood type (A+), while my husband is of the mostly meat variety. Makes cooking meals around here interesting. In reading about it, I find it interesting that I already felt that way about the foods I was eating. I don't really like meat and would much prefer to keep it out of my diet, save for the occasional chicken dinner. There are things on my "can't eat" list, but I just ignore those suggestions. I LOOOOOOVE my seafood.

From what I've seen and experienced, it's a lovely concept to sell books.....
It may have been just as successful if you called it the astrological signs diet, where Cancerians like myself can only eat seafood which is found on the seabed, and Arians can only eat pastorial foods from the high green fields of places like tuscany or the south island of New Zealand. Mind you, if you say the diet is based on your blood type is sounds like there is some sort of medical or scientific basis for these assumptions.
In all reality, if you are in tune with your body, you'll know fairly quickly which foods are good for you, and which ones are toxic - and how much of the toxic foods you can tolerate (such as chocolate or cheese) if you want to stay more or less healthy.
I love using Spelt flour for the taste and the fact that it has a lot more nutrition than the over processed and commercially grown wheat flour.
I love the taste of raw sugar as opposed to the ultra refined white sugar
I use natural salt, rather than the chemically altered version that is quite a bit cheaper
I make my own stocks, and when I can be bothered, my own sausages. I also preserve fruits and veg when they are in season- just cuz it all tastes so much better- and I feel better after eating it.
Love, Light and Blessings
