Vindication is a beautiful thing!!!
The Kentucky Board of Nursing ruled in MY favor against this huge corporate hospital. My license is secure, they have found no fault in my actions what so ever.....
It is now my old employer and the entire Hospice that will be under investigation.
I have cried all afternoon for the feelings of relief and blessings.
This indeed will be a very special Cold Full Moon Celebration and Imbolc for me.
I can't even begin to tell you how I feel. I had been so down and depressed..... and I won.
I stood up for a patient and lost my job and they tried to take away my license.
I won... I won...
I am so thankful and so happy right now!!!!!!

OH no... I did it... thats the problem..LMAO.... that was why I was so depressed....
but my actions were deemed fit and appropriate therefore no action will be taken against me nor my license. I love this feeling right now!!!!!!

Well done for not backing down. A good nurse will always put the patient first regardless.
A friend of mine was trying to get a line into a guys arm in resuss, a doctor was blocking this by standing in the way and because she didnt like the way she was asked to move, decided to argue. My friend physically moved the doctor out of the way and got suspended!! They got their job back but had to go through weeks of worry yet their actions possibly saved a life.
Its a shame you had to go through this worry just to be good at your job!
